To facilitate the delivery of our Future Jobs contract, we operate a not-for-profit company, GECKO Arts and Media.

This organisation employs people on behalf of arts and media organisations that are not eligible (under FJ guidance) to employ people directly, because they may be a band of freelancers, do not have any mechanisms to employ people, or may be simply a community benefit project.

The employments offered by this company are FJ Opportunities that are for a fixed period of six months.  Unless otherwise stated, the employments will be at minimum wage, and will be for at least 25 hours per week.

If you consider that you may be eligible to apply for one of these vacancies (check first with our guidance on the Future Jobs Fund pages), you should ask your local Job Centre for an application form.
